I serve as Financial Trustee for the Cameroon Association of Palm Beach County. What that means, in plain terms, is that I am the person making sure every dollar you contribute to CAPBC, whether through dues, donations, or community programs, is tracked clearly and put to work the way you expect it to be. Transparency and accountability are not abstract values to me. They are how trust gets built, and trust is what makes this association something we can lean on together.
In my professional life, I work as a Senior Financial Analyst inside one of Florida's top healthcare systems. The kind of financial analysis, operational strategy, and data-driven decision-making I do every day for a major institution is the same discipline I bring to our community work. When CAPBC is planning an event, evaluating a partnership, or thinking about how to stretch our resources further, you have someone at the table who treats your money with the same seriousness he treats a hospital system's budget. That is what I owe you.
Beyond finance and community leadership, I have built a public platform as a fashion and lifestyle influencer, brand consultant, and advocate for professional culture. As "Dapper Man," I have worked with leading fashion brands, and I am also an active member of the Black Menswear movement. The reason I keep doing this work, and the reason I am telling you about it here, is that I believe the way we present ourselves, carry ourselves, and show up for each other shapes how the world sees Cameroonians and Africans in the diaspora. We deserve to walk into every room with confidence. If my platform helps even one young Cameroonian in South Florida believe they belong in the rooms they are working toward, that is community work too. I am also an active member of the Black Menswear movement, an organization committed to redefining the perception of Black men through leadership, mentorship, and community impact. Through nationwide and international outreach initiatives, Black Menswear participates in charitable drives and programs that give back to underserved communities while promoting positive representation, empowerment, and unity. The reason I lend my time and platform to this work is the same reason I serve CAPBC: when our community shows up for itself, with discipline and pride, we change what is possible for the next generation.
