I bring to CAPBC the clinical training of a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, the platform of the Germavoice Podcast, and the convening instinct of someone who has spent years organizing health equity work across the African diaspora in South Florida.
For our community, what that means in practice is a President who can answer a member's health question with real clinical authority, who knows how to build coalitions across Cameroonian and broader African-diaspora networks, and who brings two consecutive years of recognition as one of South Florida's Top Black Healthcare Professionals into every room I enter on our behalf.
My focus for CAPBC is turning that clinical and convening work into programs you can actually use: mentorship pipelines for younger Cameroonians entering healthcare, women's empowerment initiatives that meet families where they are, and cultural programming that keeps the next generation tethered to home.
Honest conversations about health, family, work, and community, with a focus on the systems that shape everyday life and the solutions everyday people are building. I listen before telling, and I explore alongside rather than prescribe.
