About the Cameroon Association
of Palm Beach County
Preserving our heritage, strengthening our community, and building a home away from home in South Florida.
The Cameroon Association of Palm Beach County (CAPALM) is a community organization dedicated to uniting Cameroonians and friends of Cameroon living in the Palm Beach County area. We create spaces where our culture thrives — through events, mutual support, and shared traditions that connect generations.
Whether you arrived last month or have called South Florida home for decades, CAPALM is your community. We celebrate together, support each other, and ensure that the richness of Cameroonian heritage remains alive and vibrant far from home.
What Guides Us
Building Community Together
CAPALM organizes cultural celebrations, community cookouts, holiday gatherings, and special events throughout the year. Our events bring together families from across Palm Beach County to share food, music, and fellowship.
Beyond events, we provide a support network for Cameroonians in the area — helping newcomers settle in, connecting families, and mobilizing when a member of our community needs assistance. We also maintain a birthday calendar so no celebration goes unnoticed.
Our community sign-up board makes organizing events effortless. Volunteers coordinate food, entertainment, kids’ activities, and logistics in real time — so every gathering runs smoothly and everyone can contribute.
